Guided by ESG policy and philosophy, Cloudview Capital is consistently investing in renewable energy sector since 2014, focusing on photovoltaic solar energy and new materials, has led or participated in several equity investment projects with CHINT Electric, Zhuhai Cosmx, CHINT Anneng, Meike Solar Technology, CHINT Astronergy, Zhide Battery and China Three Gorges Renewables, successfully acquired Asia Silicon with HONGSHI Holding Group. Among these invested enterprises, CHINT Electric, Montage Technology and China Three Gorges Renewables were among “Top 100 Listed Companies of ESG in 2023”, CHINT Astronergy was among “Innovative Enterprises of ESG by Forbes in China in 2023”.
As an early advocate of ESG practice, Cloudview Capital set up a long-term strategic partnership with the Hainan Green Finance Research Institute in 2020, with a deep understanding and application of ESG concept, application scenarios and strategy implementation by regular and irregular training and communication, to build and share a green finance environment by information and research sharing mechanism. Presently, Cloudview Capital is moving forward to join “United Nations’ Principles for Responsible Investment (UNPRI)”, is committed to the highest international standards and positive contributions to sustainable & responsible investment!
